Some folks come to Alaska for the postcard views. Others come because they want to be where the road ends and the real wilderness begins. If you are one of those people who chose Lowell Point Road for exactly that reason, you already understand what makes this place special. Now imagine pairing that lifestyle with a recommended fishing charter that takes the experience even further out onto Resurrection Bay.
Charter Fishing That Matches the Setting
People who live along Lowell Point Road tend to expect more from their surroundings, and we get that. At Seward Fishing Club, we run trips that feel like an extension of the wilderness you wake up to every morning. Our captains know these waters well, from the calm stretches close to shore to the deeper runs near Kenai Fjords National Park. You are not signing up for a generic outing. You are getting a crew that respects the landscape and puts you on fish without wasting your time.
What Swims in These Waters
Resurrection Bay and the surrounding areas hold some of the best fishing Alaska has to offer. Our charters target halibut, silver salmon, rockfish, lingcod, and Pacific cod, depending on conditions and season. Some trips turn into multi-species days where the cooler fills fast. Others focus on one target when the bite is dialed in. We run combo charters and full-day trips when conditions support it, giving you options based on what you want to bring home.
A Vessel Built for Comfort
The Rainisong is 65 feet long, 20 feet wide, and holds 24 anglers in a heated cabin with plenty of seating. It is the largest fishing charter boat in Alaska. Whether you are bringing neighbors, family, or a group of friends from down the road, there is space to fish comfortably without crowding. You will stay warm on cooler days and have room to move when the action picks up.
Support From Dock to Dinner Table
You do not need to be an expert angler to have a great day with us. Our crew handles bait, rigging, technique, and guidance throughout the trip. After the catch, we fillet your fish and provide bags so you can take it home or to a local processor. The whole experience is built to keep things simple and enjoyable from start to finish.
